Today is the final blog of the “Introducing Achievements” series and if you’re just tuning in don’t forget to read though all the information we’re already posted about this great new feature. So far we’ve covered What Achievements Are, Completing & Viewing Your Achievements, Showing Off Your Achievements, How Achievement Will Affect the Community Speed API and Achievement Rewards.

Today we’re going to be discussing another very hot topic within the Need for Speed World community; how your stats are going to be affected by Achievements. We’ll also be posting the full list of Achievements that will be available when Achievements is released. So let’s get into it!

The question that has been asked the most across all the Need for Speed World social channels has been “will my stats/progress be retroactively counted for achievements?” In order to answer this question we need to first show you all the Achievements that will be launched when this new feature is released in the game. So without further ado, here is the list:

Multiplayer A-Class Restricted Sprints & Circuits won

Aftermarket Specialist
Install Aftermarket Parts

Airtime
Total Airtime accumulated in events

Alfa Romeo Collector
Alfa Romeos owned in garage

Aston Martin Collector

Audi Collector

As you can see there are a ton of Achievements that will be available to complete when the feature is released and that means there are a ton of rewards just waiting for you! It’s also worth mentioning that the Need for Speed World community will continue to see more achievements periodically added to the game from time to time.

Now, in regards to player stats there are two topics we really want to cover; How Achievements will affect your stats and migrating to the new Achievements system. For the first topic, Driver Stats, we essentially covered this in the How Achievement Will Affect the Community Speed API blog. Once Achievements are released, the Driver Profile and stats screens are being removed so players will no longer see their overall race stats:

- Total Races Won
- Total Races Lost
- Single Player Races Won
- Single Player Races Lost
- Multiplayer Races Won
- Multiplayer Races Lost
- Multiplayer DNFs
- Single Player Total Placing
- Multiplayer Total Placing
- Best Single Player Win Streak
- Current Single Player Win Streak
- Best Multiplayer Win Streak
- Current Multiplayer Win Streak

To clarify, some of these stats will continue to be tracked as achievements and may even be converted into new achievements as well.. All other driver stats will remain which brings us into the second topic, migrating to the new Achievements system.

When it’s time to finally release Achievements there will be an extended maintenance window which will last several hours. We need this time to migrate all the driver stats to the new Achievements system. There isn’t much to say about the migration process itself, however players should be aware that when we release Achievements we will also be performing a Leaderboard reset as well.

So let’s finally answer the community’s question “will my stats/progress be retroactively counted for achievements?” Short answer, yes and no. Long answer, the majority of the stats will retroactively count towards completing Achievements but there will be some Achievements that players will have to start fresh on. Below is a breakdown of the types of stats and if they will retroactively count towards completing Achievements:

- Manufacturer Car Collections
Total Car Collection
- Driver Progression
- Treasure Hunt Streak
- Treasure Hunts Completed
- Beta Status

Will not retroactively count towards completing Achievements:
- Car Customization
- Event stats (streaks, win/losses)
- Drivers In-Game Cash
